This car has been modified with an MGB engine, overdrive transmission, and rear axle. The engine is bored .040 and has the following mods.: Kent cam kit, 2" SU carbs., LCB exhaust manifold, Malory dual point distributor. The engine had a careful professional rebuild in xxxx and was started but never driven. It started up immediately and sounded great. The oil pressure was where it should be. All the electrical system was working at the time.
The body was stripped to bare metal, one small rust hole was repaired with a welded patch, and resprayed with black BC/CC. After color sanding and polishing it looked beautiful. All the chrome was either replated or replaced.
The front suspension was replaced with an MGB coilover kit. The rear suspension is an unequal 4 link with coilover shocks. HD sway bars front and rear. All the brake componants were replaced but never filled and bled.
All the upholstery was replaced with Moss Motors kits in tan. The top is canvas instead of vinyl. The seats were recovered and stored.
The wheels are Minilite replicas with knock offs, including the spare.
Due to personal problems I have never been able to finish the car. I have $17,000 invested. I'd love to see this car go to someone who will finish it and drive it. I was building it to be driven.
